Please mark your calendars now
for the last of our education sessions for this
fiscal year. On June 6th, we will have an evening
education session, co-sponsored by Temple
University's Health Information Management Program.
It will be held that evening on
Temple's Health Science Campus in the Student
Faculty Center auditorium. A networking session with
food and beverage will kick off the evening.
Speakers including an industry
update by current HIMSS Chairperson Charlene
Underwood, an ICD-10 update by Kim Felix and a
discussion on Insights into Healthcare Informatics
by J. Robert Beck, M.D. We will also bid
farewell to the 2011-12 SePHIMA board and introduce
the new board for 2012-12.
